Terms of Service

These terms cover the LoopGuard website, dashboard and paid plans (the “Service”). The LoopGuard command-line tool is open-source software released under the MIT License; your use of the CLI itself is governed by that license.

The Service

LoopGuard helps you monitor and limit usage of AI coding agents. Cost figures are estimates calculated from local log files and public list prices. They are not invoices, may differ from what a provider actually bills you, and are provided for information only. Budget caps and loop detection are best-effort safeguards: they rely on agent hook systems that can change, may act one step late, and can fail. Do not rely on LoopGuard as your only control on spending.

Not affiliated

LoopGuard is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, Anysphere (Cursor) or any other AI provider. Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor are trademarks of their respective owners.

Accounts

You sign in with an email link. Keep your API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account by emailing us, and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Plans, billing and cancellation

New accounts get a 14-day trial of paid features without a card. Pro is $9/month or $79/year; Team is $19 per seat per month (minimum 3 seats). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from the billing portal and keep access until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse, overload, reverse-engineer the hosted Service's access controls, or use it to break the law or any agent provider's terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any AI usage charges, lost work or interrupted agent sessions, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
